Welcome to my Greatest Passions. I have a few, but they are all beautifully woven together. My number one passion is my Lord Jesus Christ and what HE has done for all of us. My faith is not simply something I believe; it is the foundation I stand on each day, the quiet strength that carries me, and the light that guides my steps.
My Passion of Crosses
In my home, I have a Cross wall. Many have asked what my “obsession” is with the Cross. For me, it is not decoration. It is devotion. It is a constant, sacred reminder of the ultimate sacrifice. Jesus gave His life and shed His life-giving blood so that I may one day enter the gates of Heaven and live in eternity with my Heavenly Father. The Cross reminds me daily of grace, forgiveness, redemption, and the promise that this life is not the end of our story. It also gives me hope that I will see my beloved family members again, reunited in a place where there is no sorrow, no pain, only everlasting peace.
Every Cross on that wall tells a story. It speaks of love that conquers fear, mercy that overcomes failure, and a Savior who chose sacrifice so that we could choose eternal life.
My Passion of Angels
Alongside the Cross, another deep passion of mine is Angels. I believe Heaven is not distant and silent, but active and attentive. Scripture tells us that angels are ministering spirits, sent to serve and protect. I have felt their presence in moments of comfort, in times of uncertainty, and in seasons where only divine intervention could explain the outcome. To me, angels are reminders that we are never walking this earth alone. There is a spiritual realm working on our behalf, even when we cannot see it.
My Passion of Missions
This faith naturally extends into Missions, especially Timothy’s House in Kenya. My heart has always been drawn to caring for children and supporting those who need hope the most. Timothy’s House represents love in action. It is faith with hands and feet. When we give, pray, and serve, we are participating in something far bigger than ourselves. We are becoming vessels of compassion. Supporting missions is one of the most tangible ways I can live out what the Cross has taught me: that sacrificial love changes lives.
My passion for the Family
And then there is my Family. They are my earthly blessing and my daily joy. My faith strengthens my love for them, and my love for them strengthens my faith. Everything I believe about eternity, grace, and redemption becomes even more meaningful because I desire Heaven not only for myself, but for those I cherish most. My family is my ministry in everyday form. They are the ones I pray for, stand beside, and hold close.
My Passion for Singing
Another passion that fills my heart with joy is singing praises to my Lord. There is something powerful that happens when worship rises from the heart and becomes sound. Singing is how I celebrate, pray, and draw near to Him. In moments of gratitude, I sing. In moments of struggle, I sing. Praise shifts the atmosphere of a room and the posture of my spirit.
When I lift my voice, I am reminded that worship is not performance; it is surrender. It is Thanksgiving wrapped in melody. Music carries truth deep into the soul, and the words of praise strengthen my faith in ways that silence never could. Whether I am alone in my home or surrounded by others, singing to the Lord connects Heaven and earth most beautifully.
The Cross, Angels, Missions, Family, and singing the Lord’s Praises are not separate passions. They are threads of one beautiful tapestry. They shape who I am, how I live, and where I place my hope.
It is one more way I keep the Cross before me and gratitude within me.
Psalm 100:2
“Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence WITH SINGING
My prayer is simple: that Christ’s light will always shine through me, in my words, in my worship, in my giving, and in my love for my family.
As I share my greatest passions with you, my prayer is not simply that you understand mine, but that you reflect on your own. What anchors your heart? What stirs your spirit? What reminds you of who you are and whose you are?
For me, it is the Cross that centers me, Angels that reassure me, Missions that stretch me, and Family that grounds me in love. These passions guide my choices, shape my days, and remind me that life is both sacred and purposeful.
If even one word here encourages you to lean deeper into your faith, to love more boldly, to give more freely, or to cherish your family more intentionally, then sharing this has been a blessing. We are all walking this journey together, held by grace, guided by hope, and strengthened by love.
May you discover, protect, and celebrate your greatest passions, just as I continue to treasure mine.
